The exchange of experiences on the topic of “Taxes” took place on November 22, 2023 at Schwank GmbH in Cologne, a manufacturer of air conditioning and heating systems for industrial, commercial and logistics buildings. The agenda included many interesting points, such as the Growth Opportunities Act, which is due to come into force from 2024 and provides for numerous tax relief measures for companies. Another topic was the introduction of e-invoicing, which will be gradually introduced for the B2B sector from 2025. Participants learned about the requirements and advantages of electronic invoicing and how they can prepare for it. In addition, transfer pricing and the risks of the Tax Haven Defense Act were presented in detail by the speakers.
Another highlight of the event was the guided tour of the Schwank company, which was conducted by Technical Managing Director Professor Dr. Friedhelm Schlösser. The tour provided an insight into the innovative products and solutions as well as the history of the company, which has been successful on the market for over 80 years.
