DigitalHub.de in Bonn, which is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy, organizes the largest open-air startup event in Germany. 2,000 participants, including 100 startup exhibitors, partners, relevant companies and over 100 investors come together to promote and celebrate the startup ecosystem. The event is particularly interesting for mechanical and plant engineering companies to exchange ideas with startup representatives at panels, keynotes, pitches and workshops.

Vietnam is one of the fastest growing digital economies in the ASEAN region with an annual growth rate of 38%. AHP International is organizing a business initiation trip in the field of Industry 4.0 to Vietnam on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK). The aim of the trip is to network German companies with potential local business partners. The delegation briefings, group meetings and a preparatory web-meeting provide important insights into the development of the Vietnamese market. The individual and group meetings offer companies the opportunity to present themselves and explore market potential. The focus of the trip is on arranging qualified and individual initial contacts with potential sales partners and buyers in the public and private sectors, networks and trade associations in Vietnam that are tailored to the profile of the German participants. During the joint program points, group visits to relevant authorities and ministries, companies, innovation centers and institutes will be carried out. The group program will also be flanked by individual B2B meetings. At the beginning of the project, each participant will be asked about their specific needs and expectations regarding participation, the program and the individual appointments.

The US Market Entry Bootcamp is a 3-day seminar on the US market and provides companies with the necessary expert knowledge for a successful market entry into the USA. The seminar will take place at the IHK Düsseldorf for the first time in September 2024. All days of the boot camp will feature interactive presentations from subject matter experts and company representatives on a range of relevant topics, followed by one-on-one consultations between the speakers and participating companies. This will allow individual challenges to be discussed on a one-to-one basis. In addition, all participants will receive a comprehensive guide that can be used to create a business plan for market entry in the USA.

The focus of the business trip is on the automotive, component manufacturing, supply chain, e-mobility, logistics and automation and digitalization of goods flows. The trip, organized by NRW.Global Business GmbH, is aimed at employees of NRW companies from the areas of management, area sales, sales, production, business development or innovation management. Market potential and industry trends will be explored and the general conditions and market entry in the south-east of the USA and Mexico will be discussed. In addition, they will discuss how production and business conditions can be structured in concrete terms and which subsidies are available at federal, state and municipal level. The trip will include company visits and discussions with local German and American/Mexican companies on topics and questions raised by the participants, such as recruiting skilled workers, certification issues, market strategies and sales. A virtual preparation event will be offered to all participants in the run-up to the trip.

The steel industry has taken the lead in the climate-friendly transformation of the industry. In order for sustainable steel to achieve a breakthrough, the industry needs a reliable supply of green electricity and non-fossil gases such as hydrogen and ammonia in addition to economic policy tailwinds. Artificial intelligence is providing support here, with algorithms and data processing enabling successful optimization in steel. But what is the current status of ongoing AI projects? On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK), DREBERIS GmbH is conducting a funded market exploration trip for German manufacturers of technologies and systems for the integration of green hydrogen in industrial plants from December 9-13, 2024. During the trip, participants will be provided with practical information on the Indian target market in general as well as industry-related topics. Highlights include networking opportunities with potential partners, decision-makers and local experts in New Delhi and Mumbai.
