FMB – the Trade Show for Mechanical Engineering brings together trade visitors from design, development, purchasing and production with companies from the supply industry. More than 360 exhibitors will present new solutions for the mechanical and plant engineering sector in two exhibition halls. The 17th KommA Annual Colloquium will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at the Innovation Campus Lemgo. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Jasperneite and Prof. Dr. Lisa Underberg, the event brings together experts from industry and academia to exchange ideas on industrial communication. The focus will be on Artificial Intelligence in the engineering of automated systems, as well as 5G/6G, Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), the Asset Administration Shell (AAS), OPC UA, and IT security.

From 24 to 26 November 2026, a delegation of Estonian technology companies will visit Paderborn, Düsseldorf and Bochum/Dortmund. Workshops and individual B2B meetings will give companies in industry and mechanical engineering the opportunity to discuss topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital transformation and Industry 4.0, and to establish new technology and cooperation partnerships. Participation is free of charge.

Companies can participate as co-exhibitors at the NRW joint pavilion at E-world energy & water 2027 in Essen. The trade fair offers an international platform to present products, solutions and services for the energy industry and to establish new business contacts.
