Finding new business relationships and networks abroad – international trade fairs are ideal for this. But, the expense of a trade fair stand often exceeds a company’s budget. They have very individual requirements when they want to present their offers abroad to a broad audience. That is why the foreign trade promotion instrument “Messe meets Mittelstand” is designed to be particularly flexible: Small and medium-sized companies from NRW can exhibit at a trade fair of their choice – with financial support from the state of NRW.
As a company, you can participate in various foreign trade fairs worldwide according to your individual needs. Your choice of trade fair is subject to only three conditions:
1. the trade fair must be listed with the Ausstellungs- und Messe-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. – auma.
2. trade fairs in Germany must be classified by the auma as international trade fairs.
3. trade fairs with official federal or state participation are excluded from funding.
