Taiwan Trade Center as guest of VDMA NRW

Taiwan produces the majority of the world’s semiconductors, which are an essential part of the global supply chain for laptops, smartphones, electric vehicles and IOT sensors. In addition, Taiwan is also a global manufacturing base for displays, as well as producers of composite materials used in the manufacture of machinery. Taiwanese companies thus offer an ideal business ecosystem for the development of Industry 4.0.

The Taiwan Trade Center in Düsseldorf is part of Taiwan’s trade promotion organization TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council). TAITRA was founded in 1970 by the government and Taiwanese industry associations and supports the global development of international trade relations. In addition to helping Taiwanese companies explore global markets, TAITRA strives to provide customized services for foreign companies interested in doing business with Taiwan. Among other things, it provides free matchmaking services for foreign companies.

During an information visit on May 4, 2022, the director of the Taiwan Trade Center in Düsseldorf, Danny Liao, and the managing director of VDMA NRW and manager of the Kompetenznetz ProduktionNRW, Hans-Jürgen Alt, agreed to support companies wishing to establish or strengthen business relations with Taiwan.

Interested companies are welcome to contact the Taiwan Trade Center in Düsseldorf, Mr. Alex Hsiao, Tel. 0211-781834.
