For the fifth time, the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs is the patron of the “NRW Economy in Transition” competition. Applications are open until June 30, 2022.
Whether a tradition-steeped major corporation, a family-run craft business or an up-and-coming startup – innovative companies from North Rhine-Westphalia can now apply for the “NRW – Economy in Transition” competition at www.nrw-wirtschaft-im-wandel.de.
The competition is looking for committed companies that are meeting challenges such as digitization or globalization with new solutions and are actively shaping the economic transformation process in NRW. The competition, which is already in its fifth year, is organized by “Germany – Land of Ideas” together with the Rheinische Post newspaper and the General-Anzeiger newspaper in Bonn under the patronage of the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of Economics.
The award is presented in three categories: corporations and medium-sized businesses, crafts and small businesses, and startups. A high-caliber jury of experts with representatives from politics, business, science and society will select nine award winners from all the submissions that exemplify the innovative strength of NRW as a business location. In addition, the special “NRW-Wandler” prize is awarded to an outstanding personality from North Rhine-Westphalia who stands out for his or her special entrepreneurial and social activities. The winners will be honored at a festive awards ceremony in fall 2022.
Companies and businesses from all sectors can participate at www.nrw-wirtschaft-im-wandel.de until June 30, 2022.
