In this way NRW shows its great potential for translating trends into entrepreneurial innovations.
“With our innovation magazine, we make important relevant trends tangible and show that NRW as a location is turning visions into reality,” explains Hans-Jürgen Alt, manager of the ProductionNRW competence network run by VDMA NRW. “The companies in the mechanical engineering and production technology sector play a decisive role as enablers and problem solvers. Despite the current difficult situation, every company should carefully consider which innovation activities it should pursue with a view to its own future. Studies show that companies that invest in innovation during times of economic downturn are quicker to emerge from crises”.
