With around 95 billion euros, Horizon Europe is the largest EU funding program for research and innovation. The interim evaluation of the program, which runs from 2021 to 2027, shows that NRW can advertise with an excellent interim result, as around 800 million euros of the approximately 28 billion euros in funding distributed so far has flowed to NRW. The event “Horizon Europe.NRW – Success at a glance”, organized by the Centre for Innovation and Technology in NRW (Zenit GmbH) on 14 March 2024 in Düsseldorf, showed the status and outlook of EU-funded projects from NRW.
