NRW joint state stand at IFAT 2026

In 2026, North Rhine-Westphalia will be represented for the first time with its own joint state stand at IFAT Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for environmental technologies. The trade fair will take place in Munich from May 4 to 7, 2026. A stand measuring around 300 square meters is planned, where innovative companies from NRW can present themselves.

The joint stand is being organized by the Ministries for the Environment and for Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The thematic focus is on solutions “Made in NRW” in the areas of environmental economy and circular economy. As the number of exhibitor places is limited, a selection process will be carried out in the event of oversubscription.

The deadline for applications is September 15, 2025 and interested companies are requested to submit the following information

  • Name and address of the company
  • Contact details of the contact person
  • Proposal for an exhibit, if applicable

Companies that have expressed their interest will be invited by the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs to an information event via video conference in September 2025, where details of the planned joint stand will be presented.
